FABRI-SOFT is a highly active, multifunctional fabric softener and neutralizing agent for use on all types of fabrics.

Performance

FABRI-SOFT contains a unique surface active agent possessing properties that overcome harshness in the fabric that may be characteristic of the material itself or the result of the laundering process. Ingredients include cationic compounds such as imidazoline and quaternary ammonium products. These cationic surfactants ionize in solution, yielding positively charged ions. Cellulosic fibres, such as cotton, have a negative electrical charge when wet and consequently attract and hold the positively charged ions to their surface. Additionally, due to lowered fabric pH, FABRI-SOFT prevents grey-down from alkali carryover and residuals.
