SEITZ Destivit 2000

Concentrated anti-foaming agent to prevent foaming during the distillation of
perchloroethylene
The various components of contaminated solvent (i.e. solvent, pigment soil, grease, fatty
acids, filter powder, drycleaning detergents, retexturing agents, wax-, silicon- and fluorocarbon
resin-based water repellents) are frequently the cause of excessive foaming during distillation.
Due to its special surface-active properties, Destivit 2000 absorbs and eliminates excessive
foam in the still, thus preventing the contaminated solvent from boiling-over.
Destivit 2000 is for use during the distillation of perchloroethylene in closed-circuit system
drycleaning machines, leaving a perfectly clear distillate. It is free of chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Application:
Add Destivit 2000 directly to the still at the beginning of the distillation process
